How it all started
The journey to founding Fathers Advocating Community Teamwork Solutions began from a place of profound personal loss and a deep desire to transform that pain into progress. Each of us, the founders, has experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a child. This shared experience became the catalyst for our mission. We realized that while we could not change the past, we could channel our grief into something meaningful and impactful for our communities. Our nonprofit was born out of a commitment to make a difference, to prevent others from experiencing similar tragedies, and to foster a safer, healthier environment for all families.

Fathers Advocating Community Teamwork Solutions, based in Richmond, Virginia, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting fathers who have experienced the profound loss of a child. Our mission is to transform personal grief into community action by focusing on violence intervention, drug awareness, and mental health support. We aim to make a meaningful difference in our local area by providing a comprehensive suite of services that address these critical issues.
Empowering Our Brothers
In the wake of our losses, we found strength in unity and understanding. We created a brotherhood where fathers could come together, support one another, and share their experiences without fear of judgment. This sense of camaraderie and mutual support became the foundation of our organization.
